Adventure for Draw Steel - The Wrath of the Iresouls

A storm brews above Nexarin, a town known for its perfect weather, bountiful harvests, and always-clear water. However now, flames cover the street, earthquakes level buildings, and a rotted stench fills the air. A wicked void mage attempts to use the town’s power for his own gain. In this unofficial 1st-level adventure for the August Backerkit Packet of MCDM RPG Draw Steel, fight through never-before-seen elementally imbued Iresouls as you save Nexarin, discover powerful artifacts that convey boons you can use throughout the rest of the adventure, and face down the fearsome void mage Lord Cawlmire.

This product contains:

• An adventure that takes 6-10 hours to complete and that is designed for 4 players (with suggestions to adjust for more or less players)
• 12 brand new statblocks, including 4 minions, a powerful Void Mage, and Iresouls for all 7 elements
• 5 encounter maps specially designed for Draw Steel, each with unique and interactive terrain effects
• Encounter sheets for each encounter, helping the Director with quick references to statblocks, terrain effects, and combat objectives
• 2 unique treasures, including a Void Amulet for spellcasters designed to grow with you through adventures
• Rules for rebuilding Nexarin after the events of the adventure, and lasting benefits for doing so

A Developing Game

It is no secret that Draw Steel is thoroughly in development, and much can change over the coming year. 

Here is what we promise:

• We will update Wrath of the Iresouls to be compatible with the finalized Draw Steel v1.0 release in 2025

Here is what we would like to do, but are not obligated to do:

• Update Wrath of the Iresouls to be compatible with each Draw Steel Backerkit Packet
• Update Wrath of the Iresouls to include additional custom art
• Revise Wrath of the Iresouls integrating feedback and balance changes
• Update Wrath of the Iresouls with additional support for a campaign based out of Nexarin, including elemental-themed kits for both martials and casters.
• Adapt Wrath of the Iresouls for The Codex, and providing that version at a discount or for free to people who already purchased the Wrath of the Iresouls PDF

A Note on AI Though we would love to one day include custom art in this product, the art in this product is licensed stock art. Unfortunately, in this day and age, that brings with it the risk that art that we licensed was not created by an artist, but rather a generative AI model. We have done our best to vet the art and artists selected, but we cannot be sure that the art in this product was not created by AI. We strongly believe that art is special and can only be made by humans, not generated by a computer. If you know that an image in this product was generated by a computer model, please contact solacescribes on Discord and we will replace or remove that image from this product.
